What Is A Spiritual Advisor and How is it Different from Other Clergy?
Every religion and practice have a body of people ordained for religious duties. These formed members within an established religion conduct religious worship and provide spiritual and moral guidance to members of its congregation. Clergy members are guided by specific rituals, practices and a particular system of faith defined by their beliefs.
A Spiritual Advisor is not guided by any one particular ritual or practice but the in-depth knowledge and understanding that spiritual rituals of prayer, meditation, sound, guided imagery, gratitude, spending time in nature, and art help people connect to their inner being, to others, and to the Divine Spirit. Spiritual Advisors understand that while religion has beneficial attributes, there is no “one size fits all” method to achieving spiritual wellness and being part of any particular organization does not predict one’s spiritual freedoms.
A Spiritual Advisor connects with the humanity of an individual and is able to serve as a conduit who links spirit, culture, experiences, family bloodline, and personal beliefs to provide assessments that serve as a guide into understanding one’s love, career, relationships and much more.
Spiritual Advisors are judgment-free spirit to spirit consultants with a respect to all people from all walks of life. Spiritual Advisors are guided by the knowledge and truth that every individual has a perspective, purpose, and path on earth and are able to identify and diagnose spiritual emergencies and provide healing sessions*.
Spiritual Advisors use a variety of capabilities to guide individuals. This can include (but not limited to) clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, channeling, reiki, sound therapy, and psychic readings.
*While some Spiritual Advisors have medical expertise. Spiritual Advisors are not health professionals and individuals should seek the help of medical personnel for all medical emergencies.
